I never wondered if I was called into ministry, I only wondered when it would begin. Preparation began at age three when I first sang in front of a congregation. I left church for several years as a result of disappointment and rebellion. Upon my return, I began to feel the Spirit nudging me back into music ministry.
I completed my bachelor's degree in leadership & ministry from Ohio Christian University, my licensed practical nursing certificate, and an associate degree in business management/ accounting from Hocking College. All of my educational accomplishments have added a different dimension and insight for the business of forming Kinship Ministries.
I experienced an incredible spiritual journey and became intensely aware that God was about to open doors into ministry, my life-purpose, that I had waited on most of my life. The trials I went through were testing grounds God used to teach me about dedication, faithfulness, and commitment.
I now thank God for the testing that brought me to my knees; things that forced me to seek God's face and to search HIS heart; things that brought about the insight that there is strength in weakness, God's strength because He not only gives me strength, He IS my strength.
